Take A Video Tour Of VINCE NEIL's New West Palm Beach Bar
October 24, 2007According to PalmBeachPost.com, MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil walked into his new downtown West Palm Beach, Florida bar for the first time Tuesday afternoon and saw beyond the dust, countertop-devoid bars and the half-finished handpainted mural of famous album covers.
"Nice," he said. "This is gonna to be a very cool place!"
Neil, 46, currently touring solo, took advantage of an Orlando concert Thursday to stop by to see what’s scheduled to become Dr. Feelgood's when it opens shortly after Thanksgiving.
"I'm hoping to be able to do a show for the grand opening," said Neil, who's working on other Dr. Feelgood's clubs in Atlantic City and Vegas. "Maybe we can close the street and get rocking."
The old-style pharmacy-themed bar, named after CRÜE's 1999 hit album, will feature Neil memorabilia, some of his Harley-Davidsons and scantily-clad dancers.
It's the brainchild of local nightlife developers Cleve Mash and Rodney Mayo. Other investors include former Miami Dolphins tackle Todd Wade and former Florida Gator QB Bob Kewko.
It's Neil, however, who's become quite the entrepreneur. In addition to a tattoo parlor and a restaurant in his hometown of Las Vegas, the singer of "Girls, Girls, Girls" also runs a tequila company and a winery.
